Technically this was pretty good. You have a wide variety of shots that are steady and solid. You do have a continuity issue with your leader who takes that first call. He's wearing that hat from the beginning and when the call finally ends, he's not wearing it anymore. Storywise this is a little weak. The whole masters-antimasters thing is confusing. Who's working for who? Why does your leader show up at the bad guys house? That was a poorly designed bomb by the way. A bunch of boxes with a few wires sticking out of it? Really? In the middle of an empty basketball court? Is that how they wanted to blow up the island? You guys were filming right up to the end and I'm actually surprised you turned this in on time. I think this started off well with your idea but as you started working on it, you realized it was a lot to take on. Filming should have started a lot sooner. I know I'm coming down on you guys hard here but I really expected more from you both. There was a lot of talking on the phone with hardly any action. Your song choice was also a little too happy for this action flick. However I really liked how you presented the title and how you used it more than once in your film. I thought that was very clever. I think if you had maybe another couple of weeks this would look way better. A short film isn't easy so I have to consider that. Your audio was pretty good for most of the film. But this lacked more action and attention to details. I'm giving this a 3.2 which is a low B.
I am in 7th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to Florida, where STN was held. Next year it will be in San Diego, California.
