There is not that much longer until school is out for the summer, and I will be moving on to high school. This was actually our last full week of school, and so that means that this is my second-to-last blog, as we will not be doing any blogs next week. For this blog, we were asked to write about goals for the summer to help us improve on skills we learned in media.
The first goal I have is to learn better how to work with others. In high school, there are going to be new people that I don't know, and it might be hard at first to work with them. Over the summer, whenever I meet new people I will try to be friendly and get along with them, no matter how hard it is, getting along is the first part of working with others.
The second goal I am going to make for the summer is to watch movies. While I watch movies and TV shows over the summer, I am going to try and identify different techniques and styles of film making, and hopefully I will be able to put it to use one day. I don't think that I will stop videos yet, so I could always use more tricks up my sleeve.
Over the summer, I also will not procrastinate. I will get my chores and other jobs done as soon as possible over the break. Procrastination is an enemy to almost anyone, and I doubt that I will be able to really stop. I will be able to improve on it though, and that is what I will do.
Well, I am going to miss this class, and I wish luck to everyone who is in it next year! I guess I can't say to be back here soon for my next blog because this is one of my last. Well, bye!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
