So in this blog I will be telling you about what happened at our 2nd STN practice and the goals I set and which goals I accomplished. One of my goals I set were to help create the storyline. Another goal I set to help my team was with the filming. The final way was to help with editing.
The first goal I set was to help out with the storyline. I wasn't able to help too much because I had a band performance for the first 20 minutes of the practice so they already had the idea of what to do. The topic was "practice makes perfect" so they decided to do it on a band student, and since I am in band, I knew some people who would be good for us to interview. I was able to help get us an interview with one of my friends who plays trumpet.
The second goal I set was to help with the filming. I didn't help with too much of the filming, but I still got a chance to do some. I usually film most of the b-roll, but this time I barely filmed any. Brandon did much more filming than he usually does.
The final thing I was thinking I could help my team out with was editing. I didn't do too much editing, but I usually don' do a ton. Brandon usually does most of the storyline placing, then I put in most of the b-roll, and that is what happened. I did help with the ending by telling Brandon a neat way to end something when you have b-roll of people making music, which I have done before, so we added that in and I think that ending it that way makes it kind of a nice ending.

I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
