Today was the day I finally got better and I was able to go out with the group, on the last day that we are here. Well, we woke up, ate breakfast, and rode the subway to the American Museum Of Natural History, it's not just a museum, but also the one the movie Night at the Museum was based off of. It was really cool there. It was much bigger than the movie made it look, but the movie has a version of the museum built in a sound stage. They had all kinds of exhibits like a space section, animals of all kinds, dinosours, old Native-American exhibits and the things like that such as the old Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia, and they had a few Hawaii things. In that area they had one thing that was in the movie, the only exhibit that I could find that was in both besides the dinosuars, I will post a picture of it below for you. Whenever we went into an area with different kind of mammals, I would look for Dexter, the little trouble maker monkey from the movie. It was really cool there, and we even got to do a IMAX 3D movie with our admission that was pretty cool with about national parks and they had some really cool shots that looked great. After the museum we went out and did some shopping around Times Square. I looked at a ton of stuff, but I didn't buy anything but a 25 cent gumball after we ate dinner. To get to dinner we went out away from Times Square and we had to take the subway. We kind of got to a place with a couple choices and then split up. We then came back for our final night on the trp. Well, this will be my last daily blog, but I will start up the weekly ones next week, when school also starts. Well were headed home tomorrow and it's going to be tiring, so bye!
Today I felt better, but not quite good enough to go out today, so I stayed in my hotel room again. Towards the end of the day though it started to snow! The snow was falling too fast for my phones camera, so it made a streak. The hotel we are staying at even has changing lights for when it snows to make it look even cooler!
Today was kind of a bad day for me because I woke up and did not feel very good. I ended up staying in my hotel room all day.
Today was another long day. We woke up and rode the subway again and we went to the Museum of Moving Image. There was a ton of cool stuff there like one of the first color cameras. They also had some old video games too. After the tour we went and did a workshop where we took some pre-shot footage and turned it into a political ad so we would get an idea of what it was like. Afterwards we got lunch and went to eat at Central Park. We played around at the park there for a little bit and we then went over to an ice skating rink and ice skated for an hour and a half. We then took off back for the hotel but instead we continued to Brooklyn and we got some food. When we were at the museum, I started to not feel so great but I kept going after taking some medicine. It started to come back on the way to Brooklyn and one of the other chaperones didn't feel too good either, so I went back with her and rested for a while. Well, hopefully I feel better for tomorrow, I better get to sleep. Bye!
Today we did quite a bit. We started out with riding the subway for the first time. After that we took a little time to find the Empire State Building and we went up there to the 86th floor. We had a pretty great view from up there. We then just went down and went to get some lunch. After lunch, we went shopping for a little bit. We went over to our workshop where we learned a song and dance that was in the Broadway show we were going to this night. We then walked around a while at Times Square until we got to Planet Hollywood for our dinner. We then went over to the Broadway show, which was Matilda. We watched the show and then went back to our hotel. It was a late night. Well, better get to sleep already. Bye!
Today was kind of a slower day today, we got up somewhat early to eat breakfast and then wait for the shuttles. First we were supposed to get picked up by 8, but our flight was running late so we were going to get picked up at 10 but they told us to still be there early so we were going to leave at 9 but the shuttles did not come until 10. Once we got into got to the airport we did not have to do too much waiting though. We had about a 2-3 hour flight to New York. After the flight we just went straight to our hotel and checked in. It's a small little Inn, but it is really nice. After we settled down and rested a little while, we went to bring our clothes to the laundromat. We then came back and then left again for dinner. Our hotel is in the middle of Chinatown so we are surrounded by Chinese shops, and we went to a Chinese restraunt and they had some pretty good food there. We then just came back to our rooms for our first night in New York, and mostly everyone is feeling a lot better too! Well, bye for now!

Today we did a lot more than yesterday. We started off the day early and went over to The World of Coca-Cola. We started the tour there with a free Coca-Cola in an aluminum bottle that they have started to sell. We learned a little about the history of Coca-Cola and saw some antiques. We then moved into a room that told the history a little more in depth. We then went into a 4D video. After that we had the best of them all, the Coca-Cola Tasting Room. They had stations with a few of the many Coca-Cola products from the continents around the world, except from Antarctica. My favorite was the Fanta Exotic from Africa, but now very many other people liked it, but I thought it tasted interesting. At the end of the tasting room you went into the gift shop, but along the way you would pick up a special Coca-Cola from these three big rotating tables that has World of Coca-Cola things on it that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I also got a picture with the Coca-Cola polar bear. At the gift shop I got a Coca-Cola portable charger that looks like a little soda can. I also got a 500ml Mexican and those are the best, they are the real original formula. Afterwards we went over to the Atlanta Aquarium and we saw some cool fish, and otters and penguins. There was one penguin that figured out what a camera was and whenever one was put up to him he posed for the camera. We also watched a pretty cool dolphin show. We had a lot of fun today, but we have to leave tomorrow, well, off to New York! Bye!
Today was probably the shortest day of the entire trip. We all slept in until 12. After that we got some lunch and then we decided what to do. We went over to Georgia Tech and we did a self guided tour. We saw some cool stuff there like old looking brick buildings and a ton of cool plants. I will post a picture of one of the cherry blossom trees. We didn't really do that much after that either. We had dinner at a cafe and we got back at around 9:30. It was a pretty short day today and we did not do that much. Well, tomorrow is our last full day in Atlanta, and we are going to have a ton of fun. Bye!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
