For Christmas my family got the first 6 Fast and Furious movies. We have been watching them all and now I have seen all 7. I think that of the first 6, number 5 is my favorite. I watched it once before but I had wanted to watch it again with the rest of my family. This second time I paid a little more attention to the technical side of it. I noticed how the make the effect of the car bouncing and shaking very slightly when you are in the cab, even though I it was done against a green screen, they simulated the effects, little things like those we don't necessarily notice, but our sub-conscious minds do, and help make the video come to life better. I also noticed that in one shot they didn't use the camera like you normally would. They had a screen that was monitoring the team and it showed nothing but the black outline of the screen and the team with some old screen effects to make it look like a security screen. I thought how that actually happens more than you think, but how you never really notice it. When I did notice it, it made the video a little more interesting to have a variety of shots. Overall I think that it was a great video and that they had some cool techniques. Come back soon for some more. Bye!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
