Towards the end of this month there will be two contests that I will be in. One is a photo contest hosted by the Kauai Museum. The other contest is the Olelo Youth Xchange, the contest we enter our PSAs. I am going to talk a little about those now.
I don't know if I am going to use one of the pictures I took from the Koke'e Camp we did a little while ago or not. I am going up to Koke'e to film my PSA, but I don't know if I will find anything to take a picture of. I also might submit a photo that I take one day of something I find. I don't know yet. If I don't get anything good in time, I have a photo from the camp that I really liked that I can submit, but I will try to get something new first.
For the Olelo contest, I probably will not submit one of my news stories. The main reason for that is because I have my Inside Scoops are due around the same time, which would mean that I would have to do three things at the same time, and I would prefer to not have that if it is possible. If I didn't have my Inside Scoops to do, then I would probably edit down one of my stories.
The news story that I would submit would be my video on the Aloha Angels. I think that I did a much better video on the Aloha Angels than my other one. The main problem is that when I was making my video, I had a hard time keeping the important information in while keeping it under 3 minutes. I don't think that it would be that good if I have to take a whole minute off of it.
Even though I wont enter a news story into the Olelo contest, I am still going to try and get my PSA in and good enough to at least come close to winning. I am also going to try to get the best photo I can for the Kauai Museum photo contest. Well, come back soon for some more, bye!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
