I have a a little of a rough start on my 2nd quarter project. Now I am back on track, sort of. I will first tell you why it has been rough, then how I will catch up. Finally I will tell to you if I think I will make it in on time and why.
It has been a little rough because I had one story that I was working on for a little while, the Kauai High Satellite Launch, but when I found out that I could not get on the base, I ended up not being able to do that, and it took me 3 weeks to find that out. Now I am in a little bit of a rush trying to get my new idea to work, it is about a group called Aloha Angels that has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to elementary schools over the entire island.
I plan to catch up by simply working hard. I have already gotten the president of Aloha Angels to agree to an interview with me tomorrow. I still need to get other interviews too though. I am lucky because I might be able to finish my interviews before they are dues on Friday. I also will be getting everything done as fast as I can.
I know I will be able to make it in on time. I am almost always a bit behind than what I would wish to be, but I always still get it done on time. I should be able to get all my interviews this week, and some b-roll. The only part of filming that would be a problem would be good b-roll. I am going to see if they are having any donations coming up that I could maybe film some of.
I might be behind but not lost, I still have time to get back into place and get this thing turned in on time, and maybe even earlier. Come back soon for some more! Bye!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
