For our second quarter project, we chose to do the Hanapepe Art Night and the impact of the businesses and everybody who goes to it. I if you would like to know who we are going to interview, you can go to my last blog HERE. If you want to see our TIAS and 5 points, you can go HERE. We plan to get all the point of views of everyone. These basically sum it all up and if you have something else you think I should add to anything, please let me know. I think it will be a good story and I will post it up as soon as it I done. Bye!
With our TIAS and 5 points done and ready, we should have planned out our interviews. In this blog I will tell you just that. As I will put in my extra blog, our topic for our second project will be Hanapepe Art Night. We plan to interview 3 or 4 people who are involved in the Hanapepe Art Night.
The person that we have a for sure interview with is a person named Justin Hier. He runs a food cart called Porkies at the Hanapepe Art Night and is the food vendor that we will interview for the food business angle in our story. I also know him personally and he knows of our class and I know that he will be able to help us in our story.
Another person we could interview is another person that I know and Kallen knows them too. They are the owners of a bookstore called Talk Story that is in Hanapepe that gets affected by the art night too. They will cover the viewpoint of the businesses in Hanapepe. We will still have to see if they could be interviewed and if so which one of them.
The final person we plan to interview but haven't have confirmation for is one of the people on the Hanapepe Economic Alliance or HEA who plays a significant role in the HEA. I think they would be able to give the overall viewpoint of the town, being the town's leading group in leadership.
I think that we will be able to get the interviews in a decent time. I also think that the people we are interviewing is a good choice and they will provide a good part of our story. If anybody knows of people that we could interview in Hanapepe, then I would like to know, See you later.
It is impossible to know everything, so therefore, you are always learning something. This year I hope I can lean more about a couple of things. One is learning how to use Final Cut Pro 10's title maker better. Another is Final Cut Pro's editing effects better. The final is learning how to make scripts for news stories better.
Final Cut Pro 10 is still new to me and I have not watched all the videos on it yet. I would like to learn more about the titles which I only know enough to do basic things. I want to learn how to do fancier titles in case I ever need to make them.
I also want to learn more about Final Cut Pro's special effects. It would be useful to know how to make the green screen effect and other effects. Last year I needed to use some special effects for my PSA and I think I might need to use the special effects to either help others or myself.
For this past first quarter, I did not make that good of a script. My parents even say that I am better at the technical parts of this media class then the scripts and ideas. I want to be able to be good at both of them and not just one. If I could get better, I would be all right for fourth quarter and next year.
Everyone always can learn something new. Everybody also needs to have something that they want to learn. These were the things I wanted to learn and get batter at. I ran out of time so see you later!
I am not telling you not to read this blog, I am telling you the title of a PSA that I found on YouTube. I think that this PSA was good because of the approach they used in the PSA. They issued you a challenge and when they issued you that challenge, you want to find out what it is for. I was able to guess what the challenge was for and I think the challenge should be made to have it figured out what it was for easily and not keep you wondering what it was about and not actually paying attention to the PSA. I think that the PSA team this year for STN should try to use this strategy and also I would like it if some people had this strategy used in third quarter because I think it is a good one. Well, I hope you check it out below, Bye!
Check it out!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
