If you are a student going to this advanced media class, you might want to read this. I will tell you about some advice for next year media class. This is for returnees and newbies. First I will tell you some hints in class, when Mr. M isn't around. Also, some basic things. Finally, always think of the consequences of things you do.
Some things you should do when Mr. M is not around is pretty simple. Like one, picking up camera or laptop bags if they are on the ground or left somewhere. Also if someone needs help with something but Mr. M can't help them, you should try to help them if you can. There are many other things that you can do to make it easier for Mr. M and others.
Some of the basic things to do are usually only done because of laziness or no time. It usually is very simple to do. One might be getting keys from someone in the morning to open the two rooms. Or maybe even simply going to find your own headphones and not taking other people's headphones. You never know how simple it could be to do one basic thing in this class.
You should always think about the consequences of things. One could be no one can bring equipment home because some one didn't take care of it at home, or even at school. Another could be that we could use no equipment at all, only our own cameras or phones/tablets to do the class. Maybe we might not even have the class if the equipment isn't taken care of.
Many things can happen and many things you can stop from happening when you follow all the basic rules and tips in this class. It is very important to keep the equipment safe and useable or the school might cut the program. Help everyone in the class out and be part of the CKTV Ohana and you will have tons of fun. See you later!
I am in 8th grade in my school's Advanced Media class. I love this class and I have been having lots of fun in it. This past year we went to San Diego, where STN was held, and the year before it was in Orlando. This year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
